ወቅታዊ የአሰራር ሂደቶችንና ቴክኒኮችን በማካተት እንደገና የተሻሻለውን የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የክዋኔ ኦዲት ትግበራ ማኑዋል ለማስተዋወቅ በሁለት ዙሮች ሲሰጥ የነበረው ስልጠና ተጠናቀቀ፡፡
ስልጠናው በአውሮፓ ህብረት ድጋፍ የተዘጋጀ እና ከመስከረም 5 እስከ 16/2017 ዓ.ም በህብረቱ የቴክኒካል ፋሲሊቲ ዩኒት አማካይነት በሁለት ዙሮች የተሰጠ ሲሆን ከመ/ቤቱ የተለያዩ የክዋኔ ኦዲት ዳይሬክቶሬቶች የተውጣጡ በጥቅሉ 60 የሚሆኑ የኦዲት ስራ ኃላፊዎችና ባለሙያዎች ተሳትፈዋል፡፡
ቀደም ሲል የነበረውን የመ/ቤቱን የክዋኔ ኦዲት ማኑዋል ወቅታዊ ለማድረግና በይዘትና በቴክኒክ ደረጃ ለማሻሻል ከመ/ቤቱና ከአውሮፓ ህብረት የቴክኒካል ፋሲሊቲ ዩኒት የተውጣጡ ባለሙያዎች በጋራ በመሆን የተሳተፉ ሲሆን የስልጠናው ዓላማም ተሻሽሎ የተዘጋጀውን ረቂቅ ማኑዋል ለኦዲተሮቹ በስልጠና መልክ በማቅረብ ውይይት እንዲደረግበትና ግንዛቤ እንዲያገኙበት ማድረግ መሆኑ ታውቋል፡፡
በስልጠናው ማጠናቀቂያ ላይ የተገኙት የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር ክብርት ወ/ሮ መሠረት ዳምጤ የማኑዋል ማሻሻያው ቴክኒካል ማሻሻያ ብቻ አለመሆኑን ጠቁመው ይልቁንም በቀጣይ የሀገራችን የክዋኔ ኦዲት ሥራ ላይ የበለጠ ለውጥ ለማምጣትና የተጠያቂነትና የግልጸኝነት ሥርዓትን ለማስፈን ጉልህ ሚና የሚጫወት እንደሚሆን ያላቸውን እምነት ገልጸዋል።
አያይዘውም ሰልጣኝ ኦዲተሮች በስልጠና ቆይታቸው በተሻሻለው ማኑዋል ውስጥ የተካተቱ አዳዲስ ሀሳቦችን በተመለከተ ሰፊ ግንዛቤ እንዳገኙ እምነታቸውን ገልጸው በዚሁ መሠረት የተሻሻለውን ማኑዋል በኦዲት ስራቸው ላይ በቀጣይ ውጤታማ በሆነ መልኩ እንዲተገብሩና ያገኙትን እውቀት ለሌሎች እንዲያጋሩ አሳስበው አሳስበዋል፡፡
በማጠቃለያ መድረኩም በስልጠናው የተሳታፉ ኦዲተሮች ከክብርት ዋና ኦዲተሯ የእውቅና ሰርተፍኬት ተቀብለዋል።
Two Rounds of OFAG Training on Revised Performance Audit Manual Successfully Concluded
The Office of the Federal Auditor General, Ethiopia (OFAG), in collaboration with the European Union (EU), has successfully concluded two rounds of training on the revised Performance Audit Manual (PAM) and Working Papers (WPs).
The training, conducted in two sessions, aimed to introduce key technical updates in the newly revised manual. A total of 60 audit professionals from various performance audit directorates participated in the program.
According to OFAG’s Education and Training Directorate, the sessions were delivered by experts from the EU Technical Facility Unit (EU-TFU), who provided comprehensive guidance on the updated manual and its application.
The closing session was attended by H.E. Mrs. Meseret Damtie Chaniyalew, Auditor General of OFAG. In her remarks, she emphasized that the revision of the manual and accompanying working papers represents not just a technical update, but a strategic investment in the future of performance auditing in Ethiopia.
H.E. Mrs. Meseret also extended sincere gratitude to the European Union for its substantial financial and technical support to OFAG, and acknowledged the commitment and professionalism of the EU-TFU trainer and facilitator throughout the program.
Finally, H.E. Mrs. Meseret commended the active engagement of the trainees across both rounds and encouraged them to share their knowledge, mentor their peers, and integrate revised methodology using the new methods, tools and templates into their daily audit practices.
