በተባበሩት መንግስታት ሴቶች በኢትዮጵያ ( UN-Women Ethiopia) እና በፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የጋራ ቅንጅት የተዘጋጀና ቀደም ሲል በመ/ቤቱ የተቀረጸውን የስርዓተ ጾታ ኦዲት ረቂቅ ማኑዋል ማዳበር የሚያስችሉ የሀሳብ ግብአቶች የሚሰባሰቡበት አውደ ጥናት ተካሄደ፡፡
ከሀምሌ 11-13 / 2017 ዓ.ም በአዳማ ከተማ በተካሄደው አውደ ጥናት ከተለያዩ የመ/ቤቱ የክዋኔ ኦዲት ዳይሬክቶሬቶችና ከሴቶች፣ ወጣቶችና ህጻናት ጉዳይ ዳይሬክቶሬት የተውጣጡ የስራ ኃላፊዎችና ባለሙያዎች የተሳተፉ ሲሆን ሲሆን የአውደ ጥናቱ ዓላማ ማኑዋሉን በረቂቅ ደረጃ በመተግበር ሂደት ያጋጠሙ የአተገባበር ችግሮችን ለይቶ በማውጣት የማሻሻያ ሀሰቦችን በውይይት ለማሰባሰብና ማኑዋሉን ለማዳበር መሆኑ ታቋል፡፡
ማኑዋሉ በመ/ቤቱ የአካታችነት ኦዲት ትግበራ ላይ ያለውን ጠቀሜታ በመጥቀስ አስተያየታቸውን የሰጡት የመ/ቤቱ የሴቶች፣ ወጣቶችና ህጻናት ጉዳይ ዳይሬክሬት ወ/ሮ ጽጌ ጥላሁን መ/ቤቱ ማኑዋሉን ላለፉት ሶስት አመታት የተቋማዊ ስትራቴጂክ እቅድ አካል አድርጎ እየተጠቀመ ባለበት ሂደት በማኑዋሉ ትግበራ ላይ የታዩና መሻሻል የሚገባቸውን ጉዳዮች በውይይት ለይቶ በማውጣትና ማሻሻያ ለማድረግ አውደ ጥናቱ አስፈላጊ መሆኑን ጠቅሰዋል፡፡
የአውደ ጥናቱ ተሳታፊዎች የማሻሻያ ሀሳቦችን በማቅረብ ሂደት ትኩረት ያለው ጥረት እንዲያደርጉ ጨምረው የገለጹት ዳይሬክተሯ ማኑዋሉን በማዳበሪያ ሀሳቦች የማሻሻል ተግባር ከተጠናቀቀ በኋላ መ/ቤቱ በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ በመተግበር ላይ የሚገኘው የኦዲት ስራ አካል በመሆን ወደ ሙሉ ትግበራ ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡
መ/ቤቱ የስርዓተ ጾታና አካታችነት ኦዲትን በመተግበር ውጤታማ ስራ እየሠራ ይገኛል፡፡
OFAG Holds Workshop on Newly Developed Gender Audit Manual
The Office of the Federal Auditor General (OFAG) of Ethiopia held a consultation workshop to review and revise the draft Institutional Gender Audit Manual, which has been in use over the past three years.
The workshop, organized in collaboration with UN Women Ethiopia, brought together officials and experts from OFAG’s performance audit directorates, as well as staff from the Women, Youth and Children Directorate. Participants provided valuable input through discussions aimed at refining the manual based on practical implementation experiences.
Opening the workshop, Mrs. Tsige Tilahun, Director of the Women, Youth and Children Directorate at OFAG, emphasized its importance in identifying key challenges faced during the manual’s implementation. She stressed that the insights gathered will help address gaps and contribute to meaningful improvements.
Mrs. Tsige also called for active participation from all attendees in the manual development process. She finally noted that the updated and finalized Gender Audit Manual will be incorporated into OFAG’s future nationwide audit activities.
OFAG has been conducting effective Gender Auditing since 2022/2023.
