የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት በአዲስ መልክ ተሻሽሎ የተዘጋጀውን የፋይናንሻልና ህጋዊነት ኦዲት ማኑዋል ለማስተዋወቅ የሚረዳ የመጀመሪያ ዙር ሥልጠና ተሰጠ፡፡
የፌደራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት ከአውሮፓ ህብረት የቴክኒካል ፋሲሊቲ አካል( Technical Facility Unit) ጋር በመተባበር ያዘጋጀው አጠቃላይ ስልጠና በሁለት ዙሮች የሚካሄድ ሲሆን ከሀምሌ 7 እስከ ሀምሌ 11 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ድረስ ባሉት አምስት ተከታታይ ቀናት በተሰጠው የመጀመሪያው ዙር ስልጠና በተለያዩ ደረጃዎች ላይ የሚገኙ 36 የፋይናንሻል እና ህጋዊነት ኦዲት አመራሮች እና ባለሙያዎች መሳተፋቸው ታውቋል
በሥልጠናው መክፈቻ ላይ ተገኝተው ንግግር ያደረጉት የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር ክብርት ወ/ሮ መሰረት ዳምጤ ማኑዋሉን እንደገና የማሻሻል ሂደት በአሁኑ ወቅት ያለው አለም አቀፍ የፋይናንስ ስርዓት ውስብስብና ብዙ አቅም የሚጠይቅ ከመሆኑና ኦዲቱ ግልጽነትን እና ተጠያቂነትን መሠረት የሚያደርግ እንዲሆን የተለያዩ ባለድርሻ አካላት ካላቸው ፍላጎት አንጻር የሚታይ መሆኑን ጠቅሰው በዚሁ መሠረት የማኑዋል ዝግጅቱ ወቅቱን በሚፈልገው ደረጃ የጠበቀና የአለም አቀፍ የኦዲት ስታንዳርዶችን ያሟላ ሆኖ መሻሻሉን ጠቁመዋል፡፡
ማኑዋሉ ከአለም አቀፍ ደረጃዎች (Standards) ጋር እንዲጣጣም መደረጉ፣ አስፈላጊ የሆኑ የስጋት ትንተናዎችን ያካተተ መሆኑ፣ ዘመኑ የሚጠይቃቸውን የቴክኖሎጂ እና የመረጃ ግብአቶች ለመጠቀም እንዲያስችል ሆኖ መዘጋጀቱ እንዲሁም ማንዋሉን ለሚተገብሩ ኦዲተሮች እንዲመች ሆኖ ግልጽና ቀላል በሆነ አቀራረብ መዘጋጀቱ ማኑዋሉን በማሻሻል ሂደት ትኩረት ከተሰጣቸው ጉዳዮች መካከል ዋና ዋናዎቹ መሆናቸውን ክብርት ዋና ኦዲተሯ ጨምረው ገልጸዋል፡፡
በመጨረሻም በማኑዋሉ ዝግጅትም ሆነ ማኑዋሉን ለማስተዋወቅ በተዘጋጁ ስልጠናዎች ሂደት ለተሳተፉትና የበኩላቸውን አስተዋጽኦ ላደረጉት የመ/ቤቱ እና የአውሮፓ ህብረት የቴክኒክ ቡድን አባላት ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበው ሰልጠኞች በስልጠናው ንቁ ተሳትፎ እንዲያደርጉና ከሥልጠናው በኃላም በማኑዋሉ ትግበራ ሂደት በዘርፉ ለሚገኙ የኦዲት ባለሙያዎች በማንዋሉ አተገባበር ዙሪያ ግንዛቤ መስጠት እንደሚጠበቅባቸው በመክፈቻው እለት ባደረጉት ንግግር አሳስበዋል፡፡
የዚሁ ስልጠና አካል የሆነው ቀጣይ ሁለተኛ ዙር ስልጠና ከሀምሌ 14 እስከ ሀምሌ 18 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም እንደሚሰጥ ከትምህርትና ስልጠና ዳይሬክቶሬት የተገኘው መረጃ ያመለክታል፡፡
OFAG-EU Collaborative Training Launched to Introduce Revised Financial Audit Manual
The Office of the Federal Auditor General, Ethiopia (OFAG), in collaboration with the European Union, has launched an in-service training program aimed at familiarizing financial auditors with the newly improved Financial Audit Manual.
The training is being conducted in two rounds, from July 14 to 25, 2025, and brings together financial audit officials and technical experts. The sessions are designed to introduce participants to the updated methodologies, procedures, and techniques embedded in the revised manual.
In her opening address, H.E. Mrs. Meseret Damtie Chaniyalew, Auditor General of OFAG, emphasized the importance of keeping up with modern audit practices. She highlighted that the updated manual incorporates contemporary auditing concepts aligned with international standards, advanced risk assessment techniques, and the use of integrated digital technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of audits.
Mrs. Meseret also extended her sincere appreciation to the dedicated joint team from OFAG and the EU Technical Facility Unit (TFU), who contributed to the preparation of the improved manual. She encouraged all trainees to actively engage in the sessions, deepen their understanding of the updated content, and share the acquired knowledge with their colleagues to elevate overall auditing practices across institutions.
