የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የ2016/2017 እቅድ አፈጻጸም ውጤታማነት እየጎለበተ መምጣቱን የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ የህዝብ ተወካዮች ም/ቤት የመንግስት ወጪ አስተዳርና ቁጥጥር ጉዳዮች ቋሚ ኮሚቴ የመ/ቤቱን የእቅድ አፈጻጸም በገመገመበት መድረክ ተገለጸ፡፡
በእቅድ አፈጻጸም ውጤታማነት የቋሚ ኮሚቴው ግምገማ መድረክ የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር ክብርት ወ/ሮ መሠረት ዳምጤ የእቅድ አፈጻጸሙን ጥቅል ጉዳዮች አንስተው ዝርዝር ጉዳዮቹ ባለፈው ሰኔ 17 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ለም/ቤቱ በቀረበው አጠቃላይ ሪፖርት የተዳሰሱ መሆኑን አስታውሰዋል::
በበጀት አመቱ አመቱ በተከናወነው የኦዲት ስራ በሂሳብና ህጋዊነት ኦዲት 96.7 በመቶ እንዲሁም በክዋኔ ኦዲት 97.5 በመቶ ውጤት መመዝገቡን የገለጹት ክብርት ዋና ኦዲተሯ በልዩ ኦዲቶች አፈጻጸምም ከእቅድ በላይ መከናወኑን ገልጸዋል፡፡
በሌላ በኩል በአቅም ግንባታ፣ በቴክኖሎጂ፣ ከክልልና ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በተከናወኑ ስራዎች እና በተቋማዊ የሪፎርም ስራዎች አመርቂ ውጤት መመዝገቡን ገልጸው በአፈጻጸም ወቅት የታዩ ችግሮችን ለመፍታት ጥረቶች መደረጋቸውንና በዚህ ረገድ የቋሚ ኮሚቴውም ድጋፍና ክትትልም ከፍተኛ እንደነበር ጠቅሰዋል፡፡
የቋሚ ኮሚቴው ሰብሳቢን የተከበሩ የሺመቤት ደምሴ (ዶ/ር) ጨምሮ በግምገማ መድረኩ የተገኙት የቋሚ ኮሚቴ አባላት ተቋሙ ከጊዜ ወደጊዜ በኦዲት ሽፋንና ጥራትም ሆነ በሌሎች አፈጻጸሞች ውጤታማነቱን እያጎለበተ የመጣ ተቋም መሆኑን ገልጸው ከባለድርሻ አካላት ጋራ ባሉ ቅንጅታዊ አሠራሮች፣ በአቅም ግንባታ፣ ተሞክሮን በማካፈል እና በቴክኖሎጂ ግንባታ ረገድ ያለውን ለውጥ የበለጠ ማጎልበት እንደሚገባና ለዚህም የቋሚ ኮሚቴው ድጋፍ ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል አረጋግጠዋል፡፡
PAC Approves the Best Plan Accomplishments of the Office
The Public Expenditure Administration and Controlling Affairs Standing Committee (PAC) of the Ethiopian Parliament Confirms that the Office of the Federal Auditor General, OFAG achieves the 2023/2024 institutional plan efficiently and effectively.
In the PAC-OFAG joint gathering, held on July 2, 2025, the Standing Committee reviewed the executions of the 2023/2024 the Office’s institutional plan.
Based on summarized report of the Auditor General H.E Mrs. Meseret Damte, the Office has achieved 96.7% of its financial auditing and 97.5% of performance auditing in the budget year.
In addition to such successful plan accomplishments in the financial and performance auditing areas, the office has also attained best performances in special auditing, and other support accomplishments in information technology, capacity building, and stakeholder relation practices with efficient all rounded institutional reforms, the Auditor General H.E Meseret Damte pointed out.
The standing committee members, by their part of review statements, remarked that the plan accomplishment of the office has been encouraging, and the result also assures the continual institutional progress.
Adding further points, the PAC members also suggested that the office should strengthen such tangible successes by taking more measures in the areas of information technology, capacity building, joint works and other fundamental working systems to achieve the ultimate institutional goals.
In their final supportive propositions, the standing committee members reassured that they will continue making available conditions to support the office for more achievements.
