ለፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲት የስራ ኃላፊዎችና ከፍተኛ ባለሙያዎች አለም አቀፍ ስታንዳርዶችን በጠበቀ መልኩ እንደገና ተሻሽሎ በተዘጋጀው የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲት ማኑዋል አተገባበር ላይ ያተኮረ አውደ ጥናት ተካሄደ፡፡
ሰኔ 5 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ለአንድ ቀን በአዲስ አበባ የተካሄደው አውደ ጥናት በአውሮፓ ህብረት (EU) ድጋፍ የተደረገና ህብረቱ በኢትዮጵያ የፐብሊክ ፋይናንስ ማኔጅመንት ሪፎርምን ለመደገፍ የሚያካሂዳቸው የአቅም ግንባታ ቴክኒካል እንቅስቃሴዎች አካል መሆኑ ታውቋል፡፡
አውደ ጥናቱን የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የፋይናንስ ኦዲት ዘርፍ ም/ዋና ኦዲተር ክቡር አቶ አበራ ታደሠ በንግግር የከፈቱ ሲሆን አውደ ጥናቱ በተለይም የኦዲት ጥራትን፣ ሙያዊ ታማኝነትና የመንግስትን የፋይናንስ አስተዳደር አሠራርን ለማጎልበት በሚካሄደው ጥረት ውስጥ የመ/ቤቱ የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲተሮች ባለቸው ጉልህ ድርሻ ላይ አስተዋጽኦ የሚያደርግ ነው ብለዋል፡፡
አውደ ጥናቱ የኦዲት ስራውን በማጠናከር ሂደት የመ/ቤቱን የፋይናሽያል ኦዲት ማኑዋል ከአለም አቀፍ የኦዲት ስታንዳርዶች ጋር በተጣጣመ መልኩ ለመተግበር የሚያስችልና ወጥነት ያለው፣ ግልጽና በአለምአቀፍ ምርጥ ተሞክሮዎች ላይ የተመሰረተ የኦዲት አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል መሆኑን በንግግራቸው የጠቀሱት ክቡር አቶ አበራ የመንግስትን ሀብት በመጠበቅ፣ መልካም አስተዳደርን በማበረታታት እና በኦዲት ስራው ሊኖር የሚገባውን ህዝባዊ አመኔታ በማጠናከር ሂደት ኦዲተሮች ያለቸውን ወሳኝ ሚና የሚያሳድግ መሆኑን ጨምረው ገልጸዋል፡፡
የተሻሻለው የኦዲት ማኑዋል የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲትን ለማከናወን የሚረዱ ግልጽና የተደራጁ ዘዴዎችን፣ ከአለም አቀፍ ዋና ኦዲተር ተቋማት የአሠራር ስታንዳርዶችና ተገቢ የቁጥጥር ማእቀፎች ጋር የተጣጣሙ የአሠራር መመሪያዎችን እንዲሁም የኦዲቱን ስራ ከእቅድ ጀምሮ የስጋት ትንተና፣ የአፈጻጸም ሂደት፣ የሪፖርት አቀራረብና የክትትል ኦዲት ስርዓቱን ለመተግበር የሚያስችሉ ተግባራዊ ስልቶችን የያዘና ለውስጥም ሆነ ለውጭ ኦዲተሮች በሚያገለግል መልኩ በተለመደና በቀላል አቀራረብ የተዘጋጀ መሆኑን ክቡር ም/ዋና ኦዲተሩ ጠቁመዋል፡፡
አያይዘውም ለአውደ ጥናቱ ዝግጅት ድጋፍ ላደረገው የአውሮፓ ህበረት (EU) እና ማኑዋሉን እንደገና በመከለስ ላዘጋጁ አካላት እንዲሁም አውደ ጥናቱን ላመቻቹና ላቀረቡ የህብረቱ ተወካዮች እና ኤክስፐርቶች ምስጋናቸውን አቅርበዋል፡
33 ያህል የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲት የስራ ኃላፊዎችና ከፍተኛ ባለሙያዎች በተሳተፉበት የአንድ ቀን አሳታፊ አውደ ጥናት ከፋይናሽያል ኦዲት እቅድ ዝግጅት ጀምሮ እስከ ሪፖርትና ክትትል ኦዲት ድረስ ያሉ የትግበራ ሂደቶችን በሚመለከት በተሻሻለው ማኑዋል ውስጥ ያሉ ዝርዝር ነጥቦች ላይ ጥልቀት ያለው ውይይት በተሳታፊዎች መደረጉና ጠቃሚ ማዳበሪያ ሀሳቦች መሰጠታቸው ታውቋል፡፡
Participatory Workshop to Discuss the Revised OFAG Financial Audit Manual
The Financial audit officials and senior experts of the Office of the Federal Auditor General, OFAG Ethiopia have taken part in a one day European Union (E.U) funded participatory workshop, that aimed to discuss on topics and points of the recently revised financial audit manual of the office.
H.E Mr. Abera Tadesse, Deputy Auditor General to Financial Audit unit, OFAG opened the workshop, held on June 12/2025, and remarked the advantages of the workshop by specifying its noteworthy role for the essential contribution and commitment of financial auditors in conducting effective audits that ensure audit quality, professional integrity, and also shared accountability in public financial management.
In his further points, H.E Mr. Abera added that the workshop highly supports the office as well as the auditors to own and practice standardized, internationally accepted, consistent and transparent audits that enhance the involvements of the auditors in their attempts of protecting public resources, encouraging good governance and retaining public trust.
Appreciating the European Union (E.U) and its representatives and facilitators as the provider and organizer of the workshop, the Deputy Auditor General remarked the significance of active involvement of the partakers to make the draft audit manual workable and fruitful.
Information from the workshop indicated that the workshop discussed the major contents of the manual that cover basic phases from financial audit planning to follow up.
