ጠቃሚና ወቅታዊ የአሰራር ሂደቶችንና ቴክኒኮችን በማካተት እንደገና የተሻሻለውን የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር መ/ቤት የሂሳብና ህጋዊነት ኦዲት ትግበራ ማኑዋል ለማስተዋወቅ በሁለት ዙሮች ሲሰጥ የነበረው ስልጠና ተጠናቀቀ፡፡
ስልጠናው በአውሮፓ ህብረት ድጋፍ የተዘጋጀ እና ከሀምሌ 7 እስከ 18 /2017 ዓ.ም በህብረቱ የቴክኒካል ፋሲሊቲ ዩኒት አማካይነት በሁለት ዙሮች የተሰጠ ሲሆን ከመ/ቤቱ የተለያዩ የፋይናንሽያል ኦዲት ዳይሬክቶሬቶች የተውጣጡ በጥቅሉ 74 የሚሆኑ የኦዲት ስራ ኃላፊዎችና ባለሙያዎች ተሳትፈዋል፡፡
ቀደም ሲል የነበረውን የመ/ቤቱን የሂሳብና ህጋዊነት ኦዲት ማኑዋል ወቅታዊ ለማድረግና በይዘትና በቴክኒክ ደረጃ ለማሻሻል ከመ/ቤቱና ከአውሮፓ ህብረት የቴክኒካል ፋሲሊቲ ዩኒት የተውጣጡ ባለሙያዎች በጋራ በመሆን የተሳተፉ ሲሆን የስልጠናው አላማም ተሻሽሎ የተዘጋጀውን ረቂቅ ማኑዋል ለኦዲተሮቹ በስልጠና መልክ በማቅረብ ውይይት እንዲደረግበትና ግንዛቤ እንዲያገኙበት ማድረግ መሆኑ ታውቋል፡፡
በስልጠናው ማጠናቀቂያ ላይ የተገኙት የፌዴራል ዋና ኦዲተር ክብርት ወ/ሮ መሠረት ዳምጤ ስልጠናው ከዚህ ቀደም ሲሰጡ ከነበሩ ሥልጠናዎች በተሻለ ዝግጅትና አሰልጣኞች የተሰጠ መሆኑን ገልጸው የስልጠና አቀራረቡ በርካታ መልካም ተሞክሮዎች የሚወሰድበት ነው ብለዋል።
አያይዘውም ሰልጣኝ ኦዲተሮች በስልጠና ቆይታቸው በተሻሻለው ማኑዋል ውስጥ የተካተቱ አዳዲስ ሀሳቦችን በተመለከተ ሰፊ ግንዛቤ እንዳገኙ እምነታቸውን ገልጸው በዚሁ መሠረት የተሻሻለውን ማኑዋል በኦዲት ስራቸው ላይ በቀጣይ ውጤታማ በሆነ መልኩ እንዲተገብሩ አሳስበዋል፡፡
በማጠቃለያ መድረኩም በስልጠናው የተሳታፉ ኦዲተሮች ከክብርት ዋና ኦዲተሯ የእውቅና ሰርተፍኬት ተቀብለዋል።
Two Rounds of OFAG Training on the Revised Financial Audit Manual Successfully Concluded
The collaborative training organized by the Office of the Federal Auditor General, Ethiopia (OFAG) and the European Union (EU) on the revised Financial Audit Manual (FAM) has been successfully completed.
Conducted in two rounds, the training aimed to introduce key technical updates in the recently revised audit manual. A total of 74 audit professionals from various financial audit directorates took part in the sessions.
According to the OFAG Education and Training Directorate, the training was delivered by experts from the EU Technical Facility Unit (EU-TFU), who provided in-depth guidance on the updated manual.
The closing session was attended by H.E. Mrs. Meseret Damtie Chaniyalew, Auditor General of OFAG. In her remarks, she expressed confidence that participants have gained a clearer understanding of the enhanced audit procedures and are now better equipped to implement the revised manual in their work.
She also extended sincere gratitude to the European Union for its substantial financial and technical support to OFAG, and acknowledged the commitment and professionalism of the EU-TFU trainers throughout the training program.
Finally, H.E. Mrs. Meseret commended the active engagement of the trainees across both training rounds and encouraged them to apply the updated manual diligently and effectively in their auditing practices, leveraging the new knowledge and skills acquired.
