FAO (Federal Audit Office): October 25, 2025: – The leaders and staff of the Federal Office of the Auditor General are currently conducting asset registration using a digital application from October 24 to 28, 2025.
Information obtained from the Office’s Ethics Monitoring Unit indicates that the asset registration is primarily being carried out using the new digital asset registration application developed by the Information Network Security Agency (INSA), in accordance with the direction set by the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. It was stated that the registration will be applicable to all employees of the Office.
It is recalled that the Asset Disclosure and Registration Proclamation No. 668/2002 has been in effect for 16 years. It was noted that the newly developed digital application eliminates the previous outdated paper-based registration procedure and allows individuals to register their assets from wherever they are, without the need for physical presence.
It was mentioned that the digital asset registration system not only reduces corruption but is also monitored by INSA to prevent cyber-attacks and implementation obstacles.
